Michael has been interested deeply in how people learn as well as how people program. He has programmed for several scientific projects including one of the first bioinformatics labs studying the Human Genome, before recently in 2009 becoming interested in web development.
He was a lead engineer at Stad.io, being one of two engineers who built the initial platform in Meteor, and later was an R&D engineer at Lark Technologies. Presently he is freelancing using Meteor and a lead instructor for General Assembly SF's Front-End Web Development course.
