Lisa is a Master Inventor at IBM, working on mobile application development and open source technologies within IBM's Standards organization. She joined IBM after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Computer Science. She also earned a Masters of Science in Technology Commercialization, while working full-time, from the University of Texas. She has about 350 patent applications filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office with 115 patents issued, and is the first woman in IBM's history to reach IBM’s 100th patent plateau, a point system that rewards patent filings and issuances. Lisa lives in Baltimore, MD, with her husband and one-year-old twin boys.
